School Pictures

I am torn. Jaxon had his first school pictures taken last week. I was so excited to get them back only to see the images they caught and be completely disappointed. They are not good. While I want to order one for a keepsake, I can't imagine spending money on a picture that is so lame when I can, and have, taken ones of him that are so much better.

What's a mother to do?

If you don't like them, don't get them. Why waste the money?? Just take a picture of him in the same clothes with a similar backdrop and no one will ever know! :) Or you could just talk to some other moms and see how theirs turned out and what they're doing.

uh...yeah, you can't mimic that lame-o background. It is horrible. That is what is so bad. It isn't Jaxon, in my opinion.

being a sentamentalist, I would probably buy the smallest package possible for his baby book. Then you can laugh about it and tease him for years about it!!!! Just look at some of those pictures I have of you growing up :)

I think I agree with your mom! I have a great picture of me in 2nd or 3rd grade with a background of neon laser lights, poofy hair pulled partway up (ponytail on the side, of course) and an oversized sweater. It's great.

But maybe you should suggest that the school finds another photographer.

We always got do-overs at our school if the pictures were really bad! Mind you, they still didn't make up for the horrible backgrounds!

You can request a re-take of his pictures - they are doing fall individual re-takes on October 6th!
