Wisdom

A quote from last night's study with my Apples of Gold girls...

"Marriage does not become a marriage on the day of the wedding. That is just a ceremony. A marriage becomes a marriage when "I" becomes "we" and there is no longer any concentration on self. Marriage requires transcendent love and that isn't achieved for many years."

Are you a mentor or is this your first time going? I went last fall I think it was and I loved it! Yvonne and all the mentors are just so awesome. Every married woman should attend.

I am attending, not a mentor. I have already told more people to try it. I went dragging my feet but now I am so glad to be there.

Yeah, I never thought I would go either, but in a couple weeks time 3 or 4 people talked to me about it so I figured that was God's way of telling me I should go :). And I was so glad I did. I even ended up finding out that one of the girls lives just the next street over from our condo and I had never met her. That just shows you how big our church can seem at times. But I also had Stacy Dooley in my group and 2 ladies from my BLG...otherwise I would've been totally shy and awkward! :) Anyways, I hope you enjoy the rest of the study!
