A mother's day

Mother's Day wasn't all about spoiling me but I feel like my birthday took care of that need beforehand. Instead, Mother's Day was a day I focused on the joy of being a mom. I have been one for years but honestly this year I really felt the weight of that role and responsibility, in a good way. I felt the life in it. I felt the future of it. I remembered the purpose of no sleep, no glory, and no selfishness. I enjoyed the smiles, hugs, and I love you's of my children in a whole new way. We went to the pool twice but I managed to snag a picture of the kids and I after our second trip right before we left for dinner so enjoy and sorry about our weird hair...
